Ayurvet Research Foundation got appreciated by Shri. Bhupinder Singh Hooda,  Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana on the occasion of 32nd Foundation Day Celebration of NABARD on 12th July 2013 at Panchkula, Chandigarh. This award of honour was received for creating the maximum numbers of Kisan Clubs and taking active participation in rural development  programmes by the support of NABARD in the year 2012-13.

Shri. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana was the Chief Guest of the event. The award of honour and certificate for recognition from NABARD was received by the representatives Dr. R.S.Balhara and Shri. Balram Dass and Mr. K. Ravikanth (Vice President, Ayurvet Limited) of  Ayurvet Research Foundation  during the award function.

Ayurvet Research Fondation is committedly working for the welfare and societal benefit of farmers since 2007 in the areas of Haryana (Sonipat & Panipat).  In the year 2012-13 ARF has been actively creating the Kisan Clubs with the support of NABARD. The farmers took advantage from these Kisan Clubs. In previous year ARF has created 53 kisan clubs. The main objective of this club is to disseminate the latest technological advancement  in farming and farm credit schemes for benefiting the farmers for improving their socio-economic status.
 
 

During the occasion Shri. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana announced the launch of ‘Mandi Payment Scheme’ in the State for the benefit of the farmers and to ensure they get remunerative prices of their produce. Hon’ble Minister further said that the scheme would be named after former Punjab Hon’ble Chief Minister Shir. Pratap Singh Kairon, who had made outstanding contribution for the welfare of farming community after the independence of the country. The ‘Mandi Payment Scheme’ would bring more transparency in the transaction of farmers’ produce in the mandis.

Describing this as a progressive scheme, Hon’ble Chief Minister said that under this scheme, Mandi Debit Card would be made available to all the farmers of the State. The cards fitted with smart chip would enable them to know about the actual price and weight of their produce at the time of selling of their produce in the mandis. These Debit Cards would also be provided to Adhatis. The Hon’ble Chief Minister siad that an agreement has been signed with 18 Banks for the implementation of this scheme in Haryana.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister said that the there were 1765 Kisan Clubs in the State and the Government has made efforts to strengthen the Kisan Clubs. He reminded that last year he had announced that such clubs would also be formed at Sub Divisional Level. These clubs were being provided funds at the rate of Rs1lakh at district level and Rs60,000 per annum for Sub Divisional level.

On this occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Bhupinder Singh Hooda gave away awards to 22 best performing farmers club from all the districts in addition to their promoting agencies like Commercial Banks, Cooperative Banks and NGOs.
